My family says the school year is almost done. Even though the school buildings are closed the learning continues and the Hamilton/SOTA I Virtual Library is always open. There are games, activities, reading and more just for you! Next week, Mr. and Mrs. Harden are going to their respective schools to help with instrument, iPad, and book collection along with student pick up personal items left at the school. Mrs. Harden said that some students checked out over ten books before they left school in mid-March. Wow, that is a lot of reading. Do you know where your books are? Can you put them in a special place to have them ready for collection on May 26th and May 27th? Just come to the school one of these dates with your books and a staff member will collect your library books curbside. You don't even have to get out of the car. Once collected, Mrs. Harden and Mrs. Johnson are putting the books in a quarantine so they don't transmit any of they yucky virus. Then they will check them in and place them on the shelf. The books will be waiting on the shelf for your , ready for your return to school. Just because you have returned your library books, doesn't mean you have to stop reading. You can read ebooks via MackinVia or TumbleBooks all at home. You can even read the back of your cereal box while you are eating or read the directions to the shampoo bottle while you wash your hair. Reading and learning never ends! Stay well, Tulip
